PASSENGER NOTICE: SOSHANGUVE AND EKANGALA REGISTER FOR YOUR SMARTTAP CARD

There has been an overwhelming positive response to the call for the passengers of Soshanguve and Ekangala, to register for their first issue of the SmartTap cards. Thank you to the 7000 passengers who have already submitted their details. For those who have not yet registered, please follow the process below. The Putco driver will give you a form that you must fill in with the following details:

  1. Your surname, initials, cellphone number and your current ticket number.
  2. Please provide details of your specific departure and destination points on the form.
  3. The Putco staff will capture your information, and thereafter, the driver will hand out cards to those who have registered.
  4. The SmartTap cards are not yet available at our outlets.

Passengers can only load trips once the system is implemented for weekly and monthly ticket holders.

The first issue of the SmartTap card is free, but should you lose the card, you will pay R20 for a new one. Keep it safe.
