It feels like going for a scan or X-rays in an upmarket hotel. Highly recommended. Clean and classy, with brand new state of the art equipment. Ms Bibi Fatima was very patient and accommodating when taking me through the scan process. Although the doctor was busy with a patient, and had another waiting, he still took time out of his schedule to come chat to me and explain everything. The lady at reception, Shaaziyah, was equally pleasant and kind. Such great people - try them for your scans!

I can't give Proscan enough praise. I went there for an MRI and I was terrified. The process was smooth and the Radiographers were both absolute angels. They made sure I was calm, comfortable, and gave me enough time to get ready for the scan. They were kind and gentle and it made the world of difference. The two ladies at reception are so wonderful as well. Adele and Nozulu are such professionals with calming, friendly attitudes. They all deserve a raise. I hope I won't need an xray or MRI again anytime soon, but you will have my business, Proscan.

Oh my God. I had been postponing my mamogram and bone densinsity for YEARS out of fear. But when i got into the hands if PROSCAN STAFF I was overwhelmed. I said "oh my God why was I so afraid". They treat you as an individual. They maje you at ease. Once you walk out of there you say " oh my God, what took me so long!". I have no words to explain how they treat you as a patient. Because you even forget that you were there as a patient

Squeezed me in last minute . The ladies are all very kind and quick they helped me and never once made me feel out of place. I had some worries about my weight but they helped me and I finally got my mri done , nothing felt rushed they're clean and give privacy , gave me a gown and walked me through it even though it was late , very patient would totally recommend

How should I prepare for a biopsy?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You may need to remove all clothing and jewelry in the area to be examined.

You may need to change into a gown for the procedure.

Prior to a needle biopsy, tell your doctor about all the medications you take, including herbal supplements. List any allergies, especially to anaesthetic. Your doctor may advise you to stop taking aspirin, blood thinners, or certain herbal supplements three to five days before your procedure. This will help decrease your risk of bleeding

Also, inform your doctor about recent illnesses or other medical conditions.
