Filters remove entrained particles, but removing moisture from a sample without affecting the analyses is not so simple.<\/p><p>PermaPure\u2019s gas dryers are a superior alternative. This\u00a0selectivity for water vapor\u00a0allows our dryers to\u00a0remove more moisture than other gas drying solutions, while\u00a0keeping analytes in the gas sample.\u00a0<\/p><p>Monotube Dryer Series\u00a0(MD-Series) gas dryers contain a single Nafion\u2122 tube. Most substances completely retained in the sample. Although they do not attack or damage the Nafion\u2122 tubing, some polar organic substances are absorbed and consequently lost from the sample flow path.
