One of the critical factors affecting the ultrasonic accuracy is the measurement distance, so by minimizing the distance, accuracy is maximized.<\/p><p>Pulsar dBMACH3 operating at 125 kHz frequency the transducer provides high resolution and accuracy. Essential in open channel flow applications. The dBMACH3 can be used with the Ultra 4, 5 and TWIN when in open channel flow mode, or can be paired with the FlowCERT, all of which provide a typical accuracy of +\/- 1 mm. Resolution +\/- 0.5 mm. Range 0 mm to 2.4 m.<\/p><h4>Application example<\/h4><p>In the wastewater treatment process, the final step is water treatment. The treatment of the water ensures that all bacteria and microorganisms are broken down before being<br \/>released into the receiving body of water. UV can be used to treat the effluent water that is flowing. Accurately knowing the amount of water that is flowing is important in<br \/>this phase of the process as it helps control the UV intensity.
