THE SOLAR PROCESS
Converting energy received from the sun is a complex process. There are multiple methods of harnessing this energy to provide power / energy to the home or office. The process outlines a basic flow for information purposes.

Solar panels absorb the energy
The energy that the sun provides is absorbed by the solar panels that are placed in such a manner to maximise exposure to sunlight
Electric current is produced
The solar panels then generate an electric current that is channelled correctly.

Should there be a Hybrid System installed (this is different to “solar only” offerings) then a battery and inverter stores and allocates the power when needed

What is a "battery back-up" solution?
what is a "solar only" solution?
Best for properties in which most electricity is consumed during the day, a solar only solution includes a solar panel array with an inverter. This is a great way to reduce your electricity bill and optimise energy efficiency because power generated by the panels means you are not using electricity from the electrical grid so long as the solar panels are exposed to the sun.
What is a "hybrid solar" solution?
If the goal is to be completely energy independent and energy efficient, then a hybrid solar solution is right for you. The solution is a collection of components – solar panels, a charge controller, an inverter and a battery – that allow you to run a Solar Power System for your home or business.
